About

Build amazing 3d vehicles from simple buggies to complex work machinery! In this space themed building game you get to solve increasingly challenging remote-operated missions, as you climb the corporational ladder and unlock new planets.

The building mode is intuitive and unrestricted. There’s only a few carefully designed basic parts, and by combining them it’s possible to do all kinds of mechanical systems: steering, hydraulics, suspension systems, to name a few.

The missions begin by teleporting to the destination. Once there you have to either collect and bring back supply boxes, or travel to a different telepad in a challenging terrain. There might also be man-made obstacles on the way that you have to either destroy or get past somehow.

Features:
• 3d building mode with 10 different parts/materials
• Rover Gallery, in which you can save your designs for future use
• Career mode with 2 planets and 16 missions (more to come!)

This game is in Early Access, which means it’s still a bit rough around the edges, and there might be some bugs or incomplete features. By buying the game and giving valuable feedback you’ll be helping us greatly to get this game ready!

Rover Builder reviews and comments

Early Access Review Lego Technics on your computer! Only without Lego... More reviews on the curator page of Dreams of Genesis! Subscribe, have fun with us! It is Difficult to describe how much I like games, where you need to create something and design. So I was genuinely happy when Rover Builder hit my hands. Create from scratch heavy machinery, increased passability, really cool. Especially when you have no restrictions on the form, number of parts and mechanisms that can be installed on your machine. The Game is created by three people. Yes, yes, there are only three of them and they are all brothers! As They said, the two come up with crazy projects, and the third implements it all in program code. In Fact, at the moment, steam is their only project, but also they have a game for mobile devices Rover Builder GO. Creativity without Limits! The Game is divided into levels and for each you need to create your own transport, and perform not complex, at first glance, tasks. Get from point A to Point B, collect crates... The Game is made on the engine Unity and must admit that it looks just wonderful and stylish. The Geometry of the levels is made in rigid faces, but it looks very cool. The Developers did a great job with the engine. Also did not disappoint detailing the vehicles themselves. For each level you can create up to three TS, which can work simultaneously and switch between them can be on the fly. In fact, I've been doing my first vehicle For about an hour. After All, when I said that it should be done from scratch, I meant it. Of Course, in the first stages is not much bother, but still, at least the frame and steering system you should be able to create and if you have no idea how it works, it is better not climb. Movable elements, electric motors, pneumatics... And even if you sort of learned all this, it does not mean that your vehicle is strong enough and does not crumble from the first collision with a claw. No one limits You in your flight of creativity. When I was creating a new vehicle, I started catching myself thinking that I was looking at the design and saying, yes, what are you doing! It will not work. This beam blocks the steering, and here it is necessary to put the fastening on a sleeve for mobility of a knot. And such nuances mass. I was sitting there and I was playing with the front suspension, my SUV, for half an hour. Oh, thank you! Thank you! I wouldn't have done anything if it wasn't for my tools! The choice of the player is given such tools: Steel-The main elements of your transport will be made from it. Connection-Well, it seems to be clear! If all steel is fastened, the weight of such thing will be enormous, the same compounds will allow to strengthen the design, but have less weight. Mobile connection-Here is more interesting! Allows you to make movable parts. Levers, steering system, cranes... In general without them anywhere. Springs-What would the car had at least some depreciation it needs to equip with springs, otherwise the first stone on which you will go, break you the whole frame. Pneumatic Pistons-Very funny thing. Again I used it for suspension, allowed to change the clearance, but also useful in the creation of cranes, lifting mechanisms and other things. A Separate item is made of special elements: Wheels-Each has its own built-in motor. Do not forget to look in which direction the wheel spins. Often caught themselves on the fact that I press forward, and the front and rear rollers spin in different directions. The Motor is an electric motor which is put on a steel beam and allows to create various movable mechanisms. The Bearing is an element for creating moving parts The Steering system is a small box that is placed on a steel beam and travels on it. Last lines: Do I Recommend this game? Yes of course! I don't remember when the indie project was so gripping. It will suit absolutely everything. And the old people who want to test their engineering skills, and for children who are already tired of collecting Lego.
