RUGBY 18 reviews and comments

Contrary to the majority of comments I do not find that this game is a catastrophe. There have probably been updates since it was released a year ago. Of course if you expect a FIFA Rugby version we will inevitably be disappointed. The graphics are not exceptional, the game has flaws, including a very low difficulty, a pretty bizarre career mode and others. But it should not be forgotten that the budget for the development of this game is not that of FIFA, PES, NBA 2K, Madden NFL etc. It still has qualities like the number of licenses and interesting gameplay I find. Only out-of-game management is almost non-existent which sometimes results in frustrating moments when an opponent plates you or recovers the ball by being totally offside. For a rugby fan this game has the merit of existing and I think it is important to support it to prevent the developers from abandoning the idea of a rugby game.

A certain disappointment in view of the expectation aroused by this game and given its price. The positives:-a lot of names of players and Club up to date, it's nice-the management of the Rucks may seem intermnable at the beginning, in fact it is enough to intervene the 9 as soon as one has a strand the advantage on the opponent and it can play pretty quickly the points to bring improving:-when there is a penalty, you can not choose to Tapper in touch, there are only the options "melée", "play for oneself", "free kick" and "shot to the goal" the option that comes closest is therefore free kick, and there is the player victim of the penalty that tap PE (imagine with a front...), and only in drop mode, so much to say that to gain ground, it is cooked-most damaging point: the movement of players around the ball is unreal, no sense of play is kept, impossible to announce a combination before taking the bullet in hand of the 9. So in attack in the middle of the field for example, after a Ruck, there are 2 players on each side of the Ruck, placed completely flat, so impossible to make an attack that looks like a qqc and imposible to indicate to the line of attack to place to attack the r UCK or rather offshore while it is an essential parameter of the game revival phases. Players take the ball stopped so no speed, so immediate plating, so Ruck and rebelote with 5M of lost, until as a miracle a completely improbable hole appears on the other side of the direction of the game, which you can then exploit for gaining ground. -choice of the camera behind the bold joist, strengthens the "immersive" side but impossible to switch to TV mode (IE camera on the side of the terrain)-Tapper at the foot is super long, even putting the 10 hyper far behind, hard to Tapper a drop without getting the Chan of selected players-the management of the advantage by the referee is saugrenue, it can announce you advantage and nothing happens if you lose the ball immediately after, or sometimes it announces advantage ended 1 second after announcing the advantage While not even 1 metre has been won.
