Runes of Brennos reviews

Early access review runes of Brennos is a "historical" game about the Gauls which I liked from the beginning with runes of Brennos, is that it deals with a part of our history largely ignored by the middle of the video game: the Gauls. To be more precise, this story happens in an alternative world where it is the barbarian tribes who defeated and subjected the Roman Empire. Now he is a Gaulish Druid who governs France and Belgium. You play a young Druid who wants to take power. For this, finally, you will have to defy the Druids of the different tribes before confronting the one who governs all the tribes. The battles between Druids happen in an arena. You must send spells based on runes (runes linked to the elements: water, air, fire, electricity, Earth) to your opponent and when it attacks you, you must send counter-spells to avoid suffering damage points. By winning, you will unlock new knowledge in terms of spells but also in the history of the Gallic nation. This game is excellent and even if it is still in early access, there is something good to have fun with. In addition, you can notice the price which is very very affordable: less than 5 euros. Early Access Review Scissors, Stone, Paper + Fast Play Entry + Solid, Working Game Mechanics + Good Gesture Recognition + With Touch Control Playable ~ Average graphical Design ~ Very limited Soundtrack and Soundscape-Very Short Campaign- No Long-Term Motivation-Some Smaller Bugs In Detail The Game principle of Runes of Brennos is conceivably simple. Two Duelists face each other, the Player begins an Attack by Drawing Runes into the Air Using mouse Leases, thus hurling various Spells at the Opponent. This draws the appropriate Protective Runes to block the Attacks, after which it is changed, and so it goes back and forth until the Life Bar of a Duelant drops to Zero. There are 5 different Elements available and each element Offers 3 different Levels of complexity with corresponding damage output. So a Total Of 15 different Spells are possible in the Game. Minus the Tutorial, the Game consists of only 9 Opponents who must be defeated to complete the Campaign. The Game doesn't really offer more than 1 Game hour before it becomes a boring Replay. The only Motivation can then be drawn from the Achievements, which are not really difficult to achieve, but only cost Time. A nice Experiment was playing the Game with a Graphics tablet over Touch. This brought a little Variety to the Gameplay. Conclusion The Game itself is very simple and functional. It's a nice Gimmick that delivers short-term Fun but doesn't allow Long-term Motivation due to its very limited scope. For the Price, I Don't think the Game is worth it.
