Sail Loop

Sail Loop is a little experimental game we made for ludum dare 47 about sailing and fighting with the fundamental forces of the wind. Will you get tossed around or are you proficient captain to conquer the sea?

Objective: Sail 3 turns around the island and get the best time you can.
For fun let us know your best time. here in the team we had 5:50.06

Includes 1 Level with quite easy settings.    
Maybe if there is the interest we can add a few more courses, time was missing for content creation.

How To Play:

On the bottom right you will see your wind compass. Your boat will always face up while the needle shows the wind direction. The green areas in the circle are the optimal positions for you sail. Try to use the wind to your advantage to gain speed and catapult you over slow passages.

[<-]/[->] to change the boat direction  
[Space] to Start/Pause the game
