About

Sakura Spirit is an ecchi visual novel with a high focus on linearity — it has second to none choices unlike the standard game of that genre. The game is produced outside of Japan and targeted Western audiences thus the corresponding pop-culture references and post-modern jokes.

Gameplay

As always in visual novels, a player scrolls the image with the text in the bottom of the screen and reads the game's plot like he would read a novel. Namely, visual novels feature branching paths and multiple endings, depending on a player's choices, but Sakura Spirit presents one with the images as he clicks by them. One choice is available at the very end of the narrative which does not affect anything.

Plot

We follow the protagonist called Gushiken Takahiro. He is a powerful Judo fighter who must protect the integrity of Japanese Judo by performing at the martial arts competition. Following the recommendation of his surroundings to pray in the local temple, Gushiken finds himself in another dimensions and time — the prayer transported him in times of feudal Japan dwelled with fox-girls. It is the example of fan service as fox ears and tails exploit the fox fetish within the players. As the fox ladies are currently in a confrontation with people (and foxes are spirits), our hero's quest is centered around bringing peace to both races.

Sakura Spirit reviews and comments

A meh VN, with a boring story, used as an excuse for ecchi content, like all the other Sakura stories. The art is nice at least.

So I would unfortunately not recommend the game, although it is nice and good There are some great pictures but is a very long story without any freedom of decision and with the one Decision you can make, it comes to the same end. That said, this Novel is just reading so basically like a Manga.

Incredibly guTes spIel, with very many influential EnTdecisions. Even the pictures varierTEN often and you could feel SIch right iN The game. Although there was little text, this masterpiece TrOcomi LaubLich Said a lot with its profound paintings. Family pack handkerchiefs went away like nothing-a game for the whole family.

Sakura Spirit is a Visual Novel with a lot of good looking Human, Slime and Neko-Women, the Novel itself is absolutly nothing to write home about, there is only one choice and then thats it. It seems to be part of a Series. It is nothing special-but it has a lot of Boobs. If you want to see and dont want to pay---- ----> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdJFI3Q18tM

5/10 Naja Sakura Spirit (2014) is a Visual Novel (a digital Blend of very text-heavy Picture book and Choose Your Own Adventure novels) in which the Protagonist Is teleported from the World's Japan to the Feudal period in order to achieve Peace between the Natural Spirits and people. Of Game behavior, however, the Whole thing is quite poor. Visual Novels are comparable to the Western Point & Click Adventures in which the Story idR is driven forward by Conversations with other Characters. Diversion Dialogues usually ensure that the Course of the Story is influenced and that more can be learned about the individual Protagonists. Sakura Spirit, however, cannot serve with it; Only towards the End of the Game you will be presented with a Choice that does not even change the End of the Game. Well, and unfortunately you have to deal with a digital Comic instead of a Game. If the Question Remains, is the Story thrillingly written? Not really. The Characters are all one-dimensional and uncreative, their Motivation and Personality is crystal clear immediately after their first Movement and there is unfortunately little else. Still, it should be said that Sakura Spirit was not written badly for a First Work, but it is not really a World that needs to be visited more than once. However, the Game gets a Plus for its intricately designed Drawings. It's obvious that the development Team put all The effort and Effort into Character Design, it would only be nice if the Rest of the Game were so thoughtful. If You're out for a strong Representative of the Visual Novel genre here on Steam, then I suggest "Analogue: A Hate Story."
