Salvaged zniw game prototype

This appears to be some sort of action spin off for the Zniw game series.
It was never finished for some reason and only a few cds with backup data survived the storage building burning down, i've managed to get one through auctioning it, the physical state of the cd case is awful, but the contents within somehow didn't get damaged.
As stated before, the game is nearly done, but unfinished due to unknown circumstances. It is possible to complete it, but collision detection is not that great.
Controls:
X Z - Menu navigation
Z - Jump
Z (While mid jump) - land prematurely
Arrow keys - Movement
Collecting pebbles increases jump power.
Objective:
Collect as many pebbles as possible while avoiding various hazards such as water, ravines and reaching the flag as fast as possible.
Known bugs:
Collision weirdness
Slip on edge of hazards (may not be a bug actually)
Wrong animations playing upon knock out
Random slowdowns
Wrong respawn points
Also excuse me for my poor grammar, i've spent a lot of nights working everything out.
