A tyrannical pharaoh murders your brother, trapping his soul within a great pyramid. You decide to adventure into the unknown, in order to free him from the pharaoh's clutches.

Sands of Vengeance is an Action RPG game (Soulslike) where you have to explore the pharaoh's pyramid, gathering powerful items and defeating enemies along the way, until you reach the throne room, where you can free your brother's soul from the pharaoh's clutches.

Features

A small tutorial level to learn the mechanics of the game
Two full-length levels with many enemies to fight, places to explore, items to find and puzzles to solve
A challenging boss fight that will test even the best of players
Character progression and stats: players earn experience by defeating enemies and can spend skill points to improve a chosen aspect of their character (damage, armor, stamina, etc...)
Inventory system: items collected in the game world can be used (consumables) or equipped for a stat bonus
Dynamic combat system where each hit counts. Players are left vulnerable during their attacks' wind up times, so they have to be careful with their actions. They can roll to avoid enemy attacks, backstab enemies for massive damage or even bring dead enemies back to life to fight for them as allies
Two types of enemies: a melee enemy that chases the player and a ranged enemy that attacks the player from afar with a longbow
Sacred tombs where the player can pray to the gods to restore their health or advance to the next level of the pyramid
Lore messages scattered around the world and mysterious item descriptions, giving tidbits of information about the world and characters
Save system (only saves at checkpoints)
