Anyone who still doubts that free Games can be good should play SC2VN-The eSports Visual Novel. The Style certainly may not please everyone, and those who are generally not a Fan of Visual Novels probably won't be happy with That either. For me, though, it was one of the best I've played so far. In short, it is about the Attempt of a foreign Starcraft 2 Player to improve his Skills in Korea and thus make a Name for himself. I like that at the Beginning you have a Choice of Sex. All the Characters had their own Personality, so you felt connected to them after a short Time. Spielerly, of course, you shouldn't expect anything New here. Here, too, we are allowed to take Decisions from time to time, which can sometimes be rather irrelevant, but sometimes also determine the End. Apart from that, I liked the menu and Backing design as well as the selected Soundtracks. A small Bug seems to be the saved Game time: My Profile now has about 1.5 Hours, but in total should have collected just over 3 Hours. Otherwise, however, there were no Problems whatsoever. Nevertheless, I would recommend storing often here, as I am not sure that the automatic Storage Function will continue before game Crashes. I would like to give one Plus point for the unlockable Developer Comments, which have some interesting Background Information ready. This is a quick overview Of missing Collectible cards and Achievements. Ultimately, you determine whether Mech's Dream was just Wishful Thinking or the first Step to Realization. And don't Worry: I think People who are totally inexperienced in eSports and Starcraft will also quickly find their way around with the Glossary. Only a little English Proficiency Would be beneficial, as there is no German Localization at this Stage. All in all, I found the Story and Storytelling superbly staged and would be very much looking forward to a Sequel (please with the same Characters!).

SC2VN is a Visual Novel by Team Eleven Eleven. The Content is on the E-sports Scene in Korea, especially with Regard to Starcarft and Starcraft 2. Apart from a lot Of information about the Everyday life of professional Players, E-Sports Culture and the like, the whole thing was also packed into a nice Story, in which der/the main characteristic in tries to become a professional Player itself and a Team To find. Overall, I found the Story very successful and entertaining. There are many amusing Conversations, particularly the Drinking Game in the Pub. In Addition, the individual Characters are not only relatively different, but also all very believable, which makes the Story not only more comprehensible but also more interesting. I think it is a Pity, however, that there are relatively rare decisions to be taken and that the Mass of Text is sometimes rather slain. Moreover, it is regrettable that the few Decisions you make cannot have any real Impact on the Course Of the Game. Only 2 of the 7 or so decisions (did not count exactly) bring about an early End, whereby one immediately gets the Option shortly before the Decision to restart and make the right Choice. Graphically, in my Opinion, the Game is outstanding. Each Character looks laborious and detailed. Only the Backgrounds could have tolerated a few more Details, as some look relatively empty after all. However, they give a good Impression of the Locality of where the Characters are at the moment and often much of the background is obscured by the Characters anyway. In addition, I found it very positive that the Scenes that revolved around the Starcraft Matches themselves were not only described, but also illustrated with proper Screenshots (at least it looked very much like it). The Sound is ok to good, I particularly liked the short Music track from THE VSL Background. A Setting of the Characters would still have been quite nice at the Amount of Text certainly blown the Budget. A Note on the English of the Game. This is already a bit more demanding, but anyone who can have a normal School English should come clear and tap into what little they can't understand based on the Context or the Pictures. Overall, a really good Visual Novel that I would like to do with the Genre, as well as anyone who deals with E-Sports and/Or Starcarft or is at least interested in the Topic, especially since it is free.
