Scapeland reviews and comments

Translated by
Microsoft from Russian
The Game Scapeland caught my eye quite accidentally. Looking at the Allish attempts of a man to plant something in his garden, I had one question. Well, why, if there is a magnificent Stardew Valley, which hardly anyone will be able to surpass in the coming years, and if it turns out, it is likely to be a new Harvest Moon on some Nintendo 3DS. However, we will not be distracted and return to our game. As it turned out, behind all this was hidden the original idea. First we are offered to choose a character male or female, it does not affect, except for the achievements that can be obtained at the end of the game. Taking control of our hero, we see in front of a small house, a small garden and corral for chickens, however, the bird there is only one and bears it, unfortunately, not golden eggs. Having Collected skimpy harvest, we go to the nearest shop for purchase of seeds. Then we deal with sowing and go to the side. These actions we repeat for several days, the money we have every day is coming, and already begin to think about buying a cow or pig, and there you can see and the House will be put in order. But... Everything changes dramatically here. The Rest of the review I have to hide under the SPOILER, so as not to spoil your impressions of the game, if you decide to buy it. Waking up in the middle of the night, we discover heavy machinery and a crowd of soldiers heading towards our house. Here the game with the usual farm simulator turns into a stealth arcade! Taddadadam! Now we need to sneak past the soldiers, using speed, agility and environment. Our Ward can sneak, throw pebbles and bottles, and run fast. The Levels are long enough, and the first time to pass by all the soldiers and cameras is unlikely to succeed. Opponents Despite the limited area of sight hear well, so close to them you can approach only tiptoe, also do not forget to use bottles and stones to distract soldiers. After overcoming the first line of the enemy Scapeland presents a new surprise, and turns into a runner. We need to escape from persecution jumping and slipping under obstacles. If you take and separately consider all three games, they may seem undeveloped, but together they do not have time to get bored and give a portion of positive emotions. Pros: + Originality. + Game-like graphic style. + Unobtrusive melody. + Controller Support. Cons:-Camera. Sometimes because of the review of the camera is not even visible obstacles. Plot. It is simply not present, though some explanations it is desirable to hear. The Result: The Original project, albeit not devoid of flaws, with potential. In my opinion, every part of Scapeland can and should be improved, then it will be a game-candy. For Five students the debut project turned out to be very good. Let's hope for further successes and original ideas of guys! My score is 7 points out of 10! P.S. the Review is written by one of the authors of Special Games Club.
