Ahh yes,

the typical japenese setting: cherry blossom, a calm lake, and samurais screaming at the top of their lungs while making wild swings with their blades.

To block an incoming attack (well actually there are no incoming attacks, oh well), you need to make a low (soft) sound. The sword will move to the left side of the screen for a sec for a successful block.

To strike your opponent just scream, or if you rather not make a fuss about it: clap your hands, snip your fingers, blow in the microphone etc...  the sword will stab the opponent if the sound has been registered successfully.

I suggest muting the speakers because everything that mic will pick up shall be played back with a slight delay...
