About

The slow paced, depressing, hardcore, survival experience you've always wanted!

SCS deORBIT is a non-linear, non-combat first person game with heavy reliance on exploration, a slight horror vibe, permadeath, limited saves and some puzzles. You wake up in a semi-destroyed space colony, power is out, oxygen is running low and you must make your way out by smashing, repairing, discovering alternate paths and improvising on the spot. Four story lines are intertwined but it is only up to you to discover what brought you here, and only up to you to get out alive.

SCS deORBIT reviews and comments

Reading reviews on this game I see that people spent in it 0.1 H, 0.3 h-and write that game-guano! Too hard, incomprehensible blah blah blah, give me a rail COD!! For an indie project that costs 150 R the game gives us even more than we should! Yes-it is difficult, but it is sometimes unclear what to do. But What did you want from the situation when you found yourself on a half-ruined space station?!? Red Carpet to the rescue shuttle?!?! So do not play and give the game a chance! In The game there are minuses-this is unclear control. But the oppressive atmosphere of loneliness and fear that will soon end oxygen is also present. And This is a definite plus. Who is interested-my first emotions from the game https://youtu.be/FXLpCEV5tC0

I would buy this Game again but have to confess I wasn't sure on that Point in between. After more than 70 Hours, however, I draw a positive Conclusion. Who is this Game for? -For Space Fans. -For Survival Fans. -For Players who like to puzzle and do not give up even despite Situations of prolonged Helplessness (Frustration tolerance). -For Players who don't mind an eerie Atmosphere. What I liked:-3 different levels of Difficulty Adjustable (the lightest was hard enough for me). -There is no caum/, a Description of how to play this Game. You have to figure it all out for yourself (there is a scant Guide for everyone else). I drew a simple Map because you are almost in a Labyrinth. That's what I found befitting the survival character of the Game. -The Game entertained me for many Hours. Outstanding Customer Support. I received Answers to my Questions within a useful Period of time. -There are several end scenarios. What I didn't like:-The Tips displayed during Loading Times are not all understanding-friendly. -The Hardwean requirement is quite high. You May be able to tailor them to your PC more optimally than I have been able to. -The fragmented Story is hard to understand for People who don't know English very well (lack of Foreign Language support). I temporarily had my dear trouble. -Whether all Puzzles make Sense, I leave it (not necessarily for me). -There are still game Reactions in a few Key Points that are either not logical or error-prone in Programming. -If you die in the Game, you have to start all over again. Ream hardcore, Folks! All gone! At the Beginning of the Game you need a lot of Time to find your way around the Game at all. If you have to start anew after 10 Studs, the Frustration is pure! You'd have to let the Player choose for himself whether or not he wants that difficulty. Especially at the simplest Level of difficulty. -The "positive" Ending is somewhat disappointing. After all these Hours, you almost want a Reward. Unfortunately, in my View, this is not necessarily the case. Even though the negative Points are in the Majority, after all the Time invested, the Knobble and Puzzles, the Feeling of having finished the Game successfully is very good. That's why this Game still gets my Recommendation.
