Secret Files: Sam Peters reviews

A little Spin-Off Episode to the Secret Games games. We accompany Sam Peters on an Adventure that had a great Little performance in Part 2 and was a successful supporting Character. But was Sam already so annoying at the time? Ms. Neunmalklug Definitely doesn't tire of telling us (the Player) how clever and attractive she is. The Backdrops are very chic and well animated. The Puzzles are successful and quite crisp, for a short Additional Episode of about 2 Hours, a quite remarkable Performance. There, other Episodes Adventures could quietly cut off a Disc of. Or two at the same time. The Story revolves around a Virus and Evolution, providing entertaining Entertainment. The Control corresponds to the Main Series, so it is excellent. Verdict: Good adventure bite, but with the Purchase you should wait something. €10 is a bit expensive after all. The Game is what the hollow Tooth, nothing more.

In addition to "Yes" and "No," Steam should include a "Yes, but" or an "Actually No" rating. Because actually I'm a big Secret Files Fan. I'm pretty disappointed With Sam Peters ' Adventure though-especially the Scope of the Game. While I was able to pass almost 10 Hours of Playing time with Secret Files: Tunguska, Get Purita Cordis busy 9 Hours and Secret Files 3 demanded almost 6 Hours of Knob Work after all, Sam Peters was played out after exactly 2 Hours. The Difficulty of the Puzzles is simple to very simple, there are no more than a Handful of locations, the Story leaves a Lot of loose Ends open (or just dissolves everything in the End sequence), the Leading Actress is a Cliché on two Legs (or Did I just not understand the Self-irony?) -in short: Sam Peters is at best as a demo version for the others (highly recommended!) Secret Files Title suitable as a full-fledged Game but a Disappointment for all Fans. What a pity!

After playing through the 3 GA parts, I have now set out to do the last Part. The annoying Aunt from GA 2, Sam Peters. Right from now, I have to say that they portrayed Sam much more sympathetically. The former Miss Nine clever is always good for clever saying And most importantly I liked the Puzzles better than in GA 1-3 as they were more logical. So don't "Bring down the Elevator to melt a Hole in the Ice with the salt on The elevator, then lighter to Angel to fish fish, then get Egg With a Pump and Mask from Incubator to get to the Component on which a Penguin sits ..." Such illogical Puzzles drive one (me!) mad, but are, of course, hard to solve. In "Sam Peters," everything is quite logical, which is why you can make rapid progress. Unfortunately, it's just a Short Adventure and although I've given myself about 4std time for various Reasons, it's over quite quickly. I wouldn't shell out 10€ for it, but for half is a good Game and the Protagonist really grows to your Heart afterwards.
