Segment reviews

You can Talk for a long time and a lot, but in short-it's a classic 2D-action with the inserts run and Gun'a. We go to the level, trying to find the goal of the task, simultaneously destroying enemies. Feature of all this action is a tactical element-here will not be able to carried the level of the head, because the character dies here extremely quickly. And even the possibility of defibrillate itself does not always help, because often over your corpse will be worth the enemy who killed you, who will probably not approve your attempt to get on your feet. An important point of Segment is an attempt to tell a story that turns out to be a tick. The Player, of course, is a member of a special squad, who send a special mission to a special point special... Well, you understand. There will be no revelations, amazing twists or attempts to evoke certain feelings towards the playing Segment. But the mere presence of any narrative in such a game-certainly pleases. Another Point, this time already controversial-the battle system. The Battles here are rather slow, the movement of the character even in the sprint-extremely leisurely. But the opponents shoot and move very frisky, sometimes even manage to simultaneously teleport and throw a grenade at your feet. And then you do not know where to go, because you have to run-and on the way to escape you already waiting for a grenade. Praise the same want for the torture developer in Entourage and the general design of locations. The Surrounding world is made without special complaints, while the design of the test (mode apart from the campaign) leaves much to be desired. Yes, for the most part it is not required. The Tests here are strips with obstacles on time, they are needed to dilute the gameplay of the story missions. In the very same story, sometimes we will be able to take control of transport, which again on the hand of diversity. In The first moments Segment feels very uncomfortable and places even frizes-the store of automatic rifle for five rounds, for example. Or unexplained blunders from small arms, as if returned to TES III: Morrowind-shoot at the enemy in the focus, and the bullet flies through. But the state of affairs partially saves the pumping of weapons (here you, of course, not the scope of the level of RPG giants, but a couple of characteristics of the barrel can be pumped). As a result, Segment is painfully reminiscent of the old 2D-action of the 90s: extremely unresponsive, uncomfortable and places just taking out their complexity. That's The Segment. To game process over time get used to, and some roughnesses are corrected pumping. One Thing is for sure-Segment will surely please those who are nostalgic for the action of the old school. Others advise to look at the game closer and weigh all the pros and cons. Curator of "Special Games Club"-a verb burning the expanse of STEAM!
