Seraphim: The Lost Canvas is an RPG - Adventure game, with a turn-based combat system. Set in a medieval-themed world, Ray (our hero) must fight his way against monsters and dark creatures sent by the king of chaos to destroy this world. As the story progresses, our character must strengthen his skills and find allies that allow him to overcome the great challenges involved in fighting to appease the evil that is to come.

Gameplay and World:

The world of Seraphim is inspired by medieval times in which you can see multiple villages surrounded by vast forests.

With a top view plane in exploration mode and side view in combat mode, Seraphim allows you to explore the areas of the world and fight to save these lands with a turn-based combat system.

Combat System:

A turn-based fighting system.

Effect states:

The effect states are those that can be applied to the player or enemies and each one does something:

  • Poison: takes% of life each end of turn and each accumulation of it increases the%.
  • Bleed: Physical damage at the end (beginning) of each turn that scales with ATK
  • Stun: you lose your turn
Stats:

Both player and enemies will have:

  • Hp: the life you own
  • Mp: the mana that is possessed
  • Atk: Increase Physical Damage You Deal,% Critical Hits
  • % Critical Hit: Increases the chance of critical hit
  • Def: reduces physical damage taken
Main Player Mechanics:

The player has a variety of attacks:

  1. Classic melee attack that deals physical damage.
  2. Skills and items that deal other types of damage:

Items:

  • Potions: Which can heal mana, health, and altered states
  • Equipament: Swords and armor.

Skills:

  • Fire: Burns the enemy% of their life per turn
  • Poison: Take turns taking life from the enemy
  • Bleed: Bleed the enemy and draw life in turn
  • Stun: Causes the enemy to lose turns
  • Cure: Heals the character Life
  • AOE: all abilities become zonal
