I'm not sure if this is exclusive to the PS4 version or not (what I'm currently playing on) but I love that during cutscenes you can aim the camera in all directions. I feel like it adds something extra to the game's presentationThe game is really good at showcasing scale of the world around you, I know a lot of people have gripes with the camera in Shadow of the Colossus and while I agree it can be janky, I also think it's very unique and in many ways suits the game well. Not just for cutscenes, but the way it pans out when you're crossing certain areas especially on horseback. It just makes it feel super cinematicBut giving a little more freedom in cutscenes actually makes them feel a bit more interactive. You're still sitting there watching the story unfold, but it's nice being able to look around a bit. There are some details offscreen you wouldn't see if you were to just leave the camera alone. Nothing major, but stillI love the camera in this game. It's like you're actually a spectator in cutscenes, and not just looking at a flat screen. I wish more games did this
I would like your opinion about what to do after I finished Shadow of the Colossus for the first time. Normal time attack mode or hard mode without time attack?View Poll
Just started the game and the thumbnail on PS5, the thumbnail on the store, the box art for the physical copies and a lot more all have the 3rd Colossi on it. Is there an actual reason, or did they just choose a random one and it has no meaning?
