The Review First of all, I would like to suggest, before I even investigate anything, that the Game dates back to 2005 and is therefore only to be compared with games from the same Year. Unfortunately, I personally don't know of any Game from the same Year with similar Elements.
The Game ShadowGrounds has Elements from other "newer" games that I have either tried or completely through. An Example of this is the free Title: "Alien Swarm" Both have very similar Elements as well as similar History. People, Settings, Aliens, Dead. And so on.
Shadowgrounds is a really recommended Game. Why? For Players who also played before the game market turn (Retro), Shadowgrounds would move them sociably into another Era.
The Graphics are out of date.
Physics, too.
The Sound and Voicality also not exactly the finest compared to 2014. Possible Bugs can be found.
If it's so bad, so why recommended?
Let's Put it this way: In the past, you didn't put a lot of emphasis on Design and, among other Things, sound. Much more, Gameplay mattered. In the past it was still called fat "SPIELSPASS." But today ... Nuja, not the Subject right now.
ShadowGrounds Has this Fun. I don't even have it through yet, and I don't know when I'll have it through. Maybe the Game is too short, maybe it's not. But until this Time comes, I will enjoy the Game to the Fullest.
I got the Game in the Offer. And don't regret it at all. Do yourself a Favor And try a 9-Year-old Game. It costs less than a Dollar.
In the End, the Decision is up to you.
Thank you for your Attention! :D
Sincerely, Kodaigan
