Shantae: Half-Genie Hero Ultimate Edition reviews

Completed as of writing this review: All DLCs 100%.

This will be a review for DLCs, since I don't own the Ultimate Edition, but since there are no standalone pages for DLCs, I think it will be more fitting to add my reviews here.

Pirate Queen's Quest: A very nice DLC but slightly short. I would suggest buying this only if you liked the base game a lot. The gameplay mechanic is interesting and unique to the series, however not by much.

Friends to the End: A good DLC that is worth buying if you're looking for a challenge in the Shantae series. It has a lot of uniqueness to it with the character switching mechanic. The Level design is based around you switching constantly and that gives you a good amount of challenge. So yeah, buy it, try it, only if you like the base game though.

Costume Pack: I would recommend waiting for a sale. While I'm a sucker for such campaigns as Mighty Switch Force! styled one, I didn't like the beach costume, and the ninja costume was just okay. Not a good DLC for its price to be honest.

A nice Game from a Company that funded the Game via Kickstarter. The Result is a Platformer With a unique Character. It is worth acquiring this Game. The Add-ons are ranging from slightly disappointing but still acceptable to quite good (Risky addon)

Very good sequel to the adventures of Shantae or one has the opportunity to embody it directly in the main adventure with its genius powers or in one of the three DLC in Ninja mode, in Beach mode and in officer mode. In addition, one can embody his three friends in the DLC friends to the end and risky boots in the DLC pirate's Queen quest. In the end, the game offers a good playing time even if it is always the same levels to traverse whatever the game mode chosen, only the gameplay changes.
