Shape of the world is a game developed by hollow tree games and published by plug in digital. Pass this paragraph if you are not interested in a small bio. This "game" is a title that Stu Maxwell is in charge of; Stu Maxwell is an artist indeed Visual, it sounds quite believable when we see the work proposed to us here. Small precision, it is not at its first glance. Of course it is not all alone, and there is a team of dev behind. In view of the game that is proposed, I must at least present also aThomas Goldberg who worked (and works) in the graphics, more specifically in the technologies of procedural animation. Good and then we can also talk about the soundtrack composer as long as we are there, Brent silk for those who want to know.
Usually I do not do organic like that, but for the time I wanted to know who had allowed me to admire the scenery and a quasi-whole procedural generation of the world while having in the ears sounds that agree rather well with the mood that I each passage. And even if you know, you might as well take advantage of others. Really I do not laugh, the "plantations" and everything that is created under your eyes are generated procedurally. There is a path that is not a procedural one. But the rest is, and when you move forward, sometimes you will take a tree just because this exhausted has decided that "you will not pass". But hey, if you're like me, you left click and it clears (an idea to keep to get rid of people IRL here).
For the time being I find that shape of the world is to be placed in the register of works of art; or at least the side of contemplative/relaxing games. However I place a warning here, if you are epileptic, be careful. The color chain is quite soft (because the colors in themselves are soft in large part), but you never know: prevention is better than cure.
If you take your time, you will "Finish" shape of the world in 2 or 3 hours. If you do not take it, it will probably be in less than an hour. But like most games of the genre, the main goal is almost to get lost.
Very clearly, I have found no bugs or annoyance, nor anything that can make this game a bad game I would say that the appreciation of the graphic paw depends on the player. Finally in reality it's all the game. Personally, I had a nice time in beautiful scenery. That said I will not go so far as to say that game allowed me a great immersion; It was a journey of course but I don't have to forget my environment.
Good on the other hand it bears rather well its name; the forms that (can) take (re) the world are clearly visible.
So about shape of the world, I recommend it. Anyway if you really did not like the game, you can always get reimbursed (after you do not do this in an abusive way either).
