Rate top gamesDefinitely dated, all the environments look the same and combat is pretty slow and sometimes very unfair if enemies get the chance to spam certain spells at you but the core law, chaos neutral alignment system and the way it plays out in the narrative here is still really cool as is the demon negotiation system with it's proto-pokemon elements. I put recommended but I think with the addendum that I only recommend this to superfans of the series, it took me a while to beat and I was using a rom saves and a walkthrough, without those I can imagine this game having some truly frustrating, throw your controller at the wall, moments.
