Shinin' Blades

Fight your foe using a katana! Change your stance to block attacks, and retaliate with special dash attacks by charging up your super meter.

Shinin' Blades was made by SteelRaven7 and Wronex for a 48 hour game jam.

Controls (2 XBOX or XInput controllers recommended):

Left/Right, A/D or Left stick - Move

Up/Down, W/S or Right stick - Change stance (up, down or neutral)

Left/Right Control or Right trigger - Attack

Left/Right Shift or Left Trigger - Dash (Drains one super bar meter)

You can rebind the controls in the launcher input tab. These binds will be used when you select the Keyboard/Controller option ingame. Please note that XBOX controller support is limited on Mac and Linux, requiring you to set up your own binds manually.

Mechanics:

- Up stance blocks up and neutral attacks

- Down stance blocks down and neutral attacks

- Neutral stance doesn't block anything, but allows you to move faster!

- Gain super bar by performing successful blocks

- The super bar also fills up slowly over time
