Sid Meier's Pirates! Gold Plus (Classic) reviews

A Classic, primarily a Role-playing game around a Käptn in the Caribbean of the 16-18th Century, the Game also contains strong Elements of Real-time tactics and WiSim games. Unfortunately I have to say that I couldn't do anything with the Game at that time, I didn't like this Mix. If I wanted To play an RPG at the time, I played Wizadry or Ultima or M & M. If I Wanted WiSim I lured Hanse etc. and in Strategy I liked Round-based Games. Today it is even more difficult for me because now the Graphics are simply very nasty Pixel Soup. Since the Game has no Nostalgia bonus with me, I probably feel the Graphic Malt even more clearly. I hope I showed enough of the game in the 20 Or so minutes to give an Impression of what the Game looks like and it plays to include it in the Infracta Game Archive. Many still know it from the old Days, "Pirates" the Hit from the Youth you missed For Years. No now as it is available again in slightly revised version. "Pirates! Gold Plus (Classic) "is almost exactly the" Pirates "you know from the Commodore Amiga. I can claim this with reason that I have next to me four old, overhauled and functioning Amigas that are connected and on which I play an old Classic, among others "Pirates." It offers beautiful old retro Graphics, 16 Bit Music and Sounds and also the Controls works perfectly. When driving around by Ship you can control with "Maustasts" and "Arrow Keys," with "Space" you can open the Captain's Menu. In a Naval Battle, it's the same Principle, controlling the Ship with "Mouse buttons" and "Arrow Keys," firing the Cannons with "Space." The Rest Of The game is shaped by Point and Click Actions with the Mouse. Yes, you can click on things in the Pictures to come forward or to other places with other Characters! Here's an Answer to an often-asked Question: How do you store your Game Score? Very easy To open-> Save Game menu-> in the Captain'S Menu to the Right click on the mirror or the Comode underneath (only does not work on Land at Sea)!! Anyone who loved the old Pirates will also love the emulated Pirates here, 10/10 Points. It'S a lot Of Fun to drive through the South Sea again and wreak Havoc. "Pirates" is also recommended for younger Players as the Level Of violence is very low. Conclusion: For all those who still know it and all those who get to know it a great Fun!
