Simple Elemental brawl

WARNING :  The game is really HARD. But trust us, there is something to master, and we've been having a blast with it.  Play well with your movement. Watch for your resources and cooldown. Switch spell frequently to avoid waiting for cooldowns. Use the time slow to assess the situation. Learn the wave patterns and prioritize targets.  You won't beat the game first try, but it's beatable. Have fun !

Combine your main element with other elements that you find to yield powerful spells in this arcade brawler !

Movement :

A or D to move left/right.

Space to jump / double jump.

S to fast fall / drop from platforms.

Shift to dash left or right.

Attacks :

Use your mouse to aim.

Left click to fire the base spell.

1, 2, 3, 4 to select which element to yield as secondary. (Alternatively : A, E, R, F)

Press and release right click to fire a combined spell. Combine your main element with your currently yielded one to fire different spells !

Watch out though, because spells have cooldowns and cost mana.

Collect more mana by killing enemies.

Overkill them to get even more mana ! (Except blobs, they are weak enough already).

(Spoiler territory)  Spells currently in the game : 

Fire + Fire = Big fireball

Fire + Water = Acid wave

Fire + Air = Lighting bolt

Fire + Earth = Fire eruption

Tips : 

• You can’t heal, so make the most of your health.
• With the correct timing, you can jump during a dash to make a dashing jump.
• Switching spells allows you to fire them quickly if you have enough mana (as each cooldown is separate). 

Final notes :

• We originally planned for 3 other characters, each using a different element as their main one, bringing the total spell amount to 10 ! We may add them in the future.
• There are currently 22 waves in the game, and neither of us could reach the end in playtesting (it’s hard). There is no endscreen so it may end weirdly.
