Simple Fish Sim

Simple Fish Sim --

Just a little project using GML that simulates fish growing, multiplying and disappear.

Simple simulator to run in the background, play on the screen, or to fall asleep for. 

Our aim with the game was minimal interaction, 'run itself', and  creating a calming, relaxing effect.

Game specifics:

- A total of six different fish so far, in an aquarium at the beginning you can choose how many fish you would like with a maximum of 20.

-Interact with the fishes by giving them food, you will have to wait between feeding them and it takes time to replenish it.

- When fish reach a certain size, they have a chance to multiply if in contact with another fish, and the type of offspring is determined by their parent fish.

- When fish get too old, they get smaller and more transparent until they disappear.

- Each fish assigned a random name that the computer creates

- The top you can see the specifics of the game, see how early you will get all 6 fish in the game.

  Interaction:

- Toggles the fish names and data

- Restarts game/Exits game at title

Hides the ingame UI

Feeds fish - Giving chance for the current fish to interact
