I've played the iOS version of this Game around 60 Hours so far and I'm far from seeing everything there is to see.
Siralim plays like a classic Role-playing Game, but deviates a bit from the classic Formula. There's no real Backstory, just some Insinuations. But I don't miss them at all, although I prefer Role-playing Games with well-crafted Stories. The Game Mechanics themselves are so deep and extensive that you can really sink into it-in a positive Sense! It's great Fun to explore the different Possibilities of the Game and pick out what suits your own Style of play.
The Game offers a lot of possibilities, there's always Something to do, you always have a Plan in Mind like "ok, now I'm doing this, then I'm still collecting Resources for that, after that I work towards the Creature xy, ...). But You don't get overwhelmed by the Possibilities, you gradually unlock them yourself as the Game progresses. You can expand your Lock and thus also the Game itself, thus unlocking new Features or Creatures. You can work toward the ultimate Artifact or a specific Creature. You can shape your own Character by investing Points in different "Skills" that indirectly support you in Fighting or Collecting Resources. There's an Arena where you can fight for Rewards. There are powerful Magic Rituals that offer special Rewards, but for which you have to invest Time and Resources.
Keyword Creatures: The Game advertises the Number of over 300 Creatures you can "catch" all of them yourself (not catch like Pokemon, it's a little different, but each Creature is available to the Player if he does the Right thing). What'S Fascinating to me: These Creatures are really massively different from each other, they're actually "unique." Each Creature has a specific Special Ability. These Skills differ massively, some are special Attacks, some help with the Defense/Support of the Group, some help with the collection of Resources, some exploit Artifacts, some do something completely different ... It's very worth trying out the different Creatures really all of them. Some seemingly inconspicuous Ability may be ideally combined with the Ability of another Creature.
There is a clear Buy recommendation from me. I like the Game so much that I bought this Version on Steam almost again in the Second of the Show, even though I already own the (exactly the same) version for the Smartphone.
The Game offers you the "only one more Round-huch, so late is it already?!" -Feeling, but what here would rather be called "oh, only this One ritual would have to be completed" or "just this one Realm." :)
