About

I wouldn’t know if I made the game for you to finish it.
Or something cruel and watch you fall.
Or to see how many times you get back up.

Sisyphos is a cruel game inspired by the Greek myth of the same name, in the Albert Camus’ book “The Myth of Sisyphus”. It pays homage to “Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy”. All you have is a hand, a rock, and the slope of a mountain. With practice, you’ll roll the rock uphill to the summit.

THIS IS A INDIE PLATFORM-ish GAME

PARENTHESES TO DISCUSS HOW TO PLAY

You control the hand with the mouse and must roll the rock uphill. END OF PARENTHESIS

KEY POINTS

  • Roll the Rock Uphill.
  • Follow the Contour of the Slope.
  • Be patient; the journey is long, but enjoy the music and the path.
  • My testers have said it’s incredibly difficult—my apologies for that.
  • Release the mouse and let the hand drop occasionally; it’ll help.
  • Again, sorry for making you fall; it’s my fault.
  • See you at the summit.
  • Find me: @villarinocarlos

Well, since you’ve made it this far...

My name is Carlos Villarino, and I’m an independent developer.
All by myself, WELL, with the help of many friends, I assembled this cruelty.
All proceeds will go toward keeping the studio team (just me, haha) fed, finishing this game, and pursuing other game ideas I have.
I hope you enjoyed this adventure.
See you soon.

Gratefully, Carlos V.
