Six Hundred Miles
About
Six Hundred Miles is a game about a mother whose son has left to go to war. Read over twenty letters, make critical decisions to save your son's life, try to prevent your bankruptcy and mental deterioration while going to work, checking bombs.
How to playUse your ration card to make critical decisions and drag over your envelope to send letters away.
Click on any bombs that are not in the authorised list to incinerate. This list changes every day. You lose one energy for each mistake you make.
Known BugsAs this game was made in 48 hours, there is bound to be bugs: in specific, if you use your ration card in the first second of it appearing your mum's letter won't appear. This is only a visual bug and therefore you can drag the envelope to the centre of the screen to progress the day still.
Alternate Genre JamThis game was made for the Alternate Genre Jam: X1 Games' first hosted game jam.
We achieved the alternate genre requirement by making a management-interactive novel game, a genre uncommon for war games.
