a cross section of a particular time in a person's life, explored by browsing files in a fictional obsolete operating system.

a bit about the process:

all the photos in the piece are actual full resolution photos shrunken down to a resolution of 1x1 pixels. the timestamps are the actual time the photos were taken, and the captions were written in a plain text file as the photos were taken and only lightly edited afterward.

initially made for the desktop archeology show at the museum of human achievement .

photosensitivity warning: this project features quite a bit of high frequency (60 hz) flickering white on a black background, you may wish to give this one a miss.
