Skyscraper Simulator reviews

In The Title Screen, there's a "pretty" Google Earth view of New York. Ok.. Things are looking better in GoogleEarth, but what's the best. In the next Step you choose a Plot of land and then you can choose in a small Settings window what you want to build: Skyscraper size, office or Living (or The Proportion), the Quality of the Premises. You can't have an Influence on the Look or shape of the Skyscraper. Next, you are on the Construction Site. You now have to buy Vehicles and hire People and then assign those People to their Jobs. This is easy via a Slider. So, for example, "10 Workers needed" and then the Regulator Is divided into Maximumand-a-half 10 Workers. Now you watch the next 5-10 Minutes as an Excavator lifts out a large Construction pit. Luckily, there is a Time-lapse Feature. Once this has been completed, you have to buy Concrete Mixers and Reassert conducts. Now the Foundation is cast. That is, actually the Foundation is there immediately, only the Pit (which is Eight times larger than the Foundation) is almost raised again. That's you next 5-10 Minutes in Time Lapse. Once this Phase is complete, two Vans and two Cranes are purchased and the Cranes are handed to the Concrete Builders and the others to the Scaffolding Builders. And then you watch the next 10-15 Minutes as the Skyscraper slowly grows. There is not really any construction Phase to see. It only "grows" the 3D Model and then pulls the External Texture over it. So the Skyscraper is "pumped up" rather than really built .. The Vehicles always move to the same Location. They come to The Construction Site, stop 30m from the Scaffolding and then drive away again. Goods transport? wrong.. People on the Construction Site? Yes.. 200 People hired .. But there is none to be seen. The Picture Of the Construction Site itself does not change either. So that, for example, Housing Containers or something like that grows with the Number of Workers. Not even in the Vehicles are Workers!!! The Animations (at least for the Excavators, which are the only ones moving) are ugly, too. The Vehicles do not move forward, but "flash" from one Fixed position to the next. The Tyres do not turn either (they do not have to, because the Vehicles do not drive, but rather teleport). When the Building is finished, you get to see a Window showing how long it took you, what it cost. All purchased Vehicles are also sold and you can build the next Site. Of Course, buy everything again. Is it clear, isn't it? So I haven't experienced such a Stronzdoofe "Simulation" in a long time. More of an active Screen Saver, with a Screen Saver probably even more interesting. This one has nothing at all. No Economic Side, no Realism, no Fun. Nothing.. Nor do I know which Target Group this Part should address. I have to say that I give Simulations a Chance, even which at first Glance seem "strange" (even the forklift simulator is more Fun than this one!). I can only recommend leaving the Fingers of the Thing here. If you want to build Skyscrapers, you'd better pick up "Tycoon City New York." This is a bit older, but it is much more Fun (and probably looks even better).
