SLAVE TO THE RHYTHM

WARNING: THIS GAME HAS A TON OF INTENSE STROBE LIGHTS AND FLASHING COLORS

My submission to the Game Maker's Toolkit 2020 GMTK game jam!

The theme was "out of control",  so I decided to make the player and environment controlled by the music.

You alternate between two moves: Moving pushes you forward a good amount, and shooting makes you shoot a projectile, but it also has some recoil, so you have to focus on what's behind you. 

I wrote all the code, made all graphics, sounds, music within the 48 hour time.
