Dungeon Lord, Heroes Are Coming!

Slay or Fall is a text roguelike with management elements, in which you need to defeat an approaching enemy in a certain number of events. As a dark lord, you have to take over the reins of a huge dungeon, while brave heroes are coming for your soul! Use magic and dirty tricks, give orders to your subordinates - your main goal is to defeat the heroes before they reach you!
Multifaceted text events contain many branches, each of your choices has consequences and affects both the heroes and the player!
Between events, you also need to deal with combat skirmishes and political issues, in which the player's decisions also matter!

Will your subordinates help you?

There are 4 factions oppressed by you: goblins, occultists, lizards and ratfolks. Not all of them are happy with your rule...
Goblins - greedy and dishonest creatures. Their abundance and greed replenish the treasury with money.
Occultists - your infinitely loyal subjects. Dark magicians who are ready to put their souls on the line for the sake of victory! That is why there are so few of them...
Lizards - warriors of honor and brute force. They dislike magic, in the dungeon they are engaged in logistics.
Ratfolks - annoying creatures who cannot accept their fate! They most actively oppose your will. But taming this people allows you to use their skills of espionage and murder for your own needs...

Replayability

The game is designed for many runs. Many presets, various heroes, text events with different outcomes and consequences - all this makes you come back to the game again and again!
Defeat your enemies as insidiously as you wish! Kill the heroes during battles, defeat them in your domain, make them starve, cloud their minds, lower their morale, organize a conspiracy by sending discord to travelers!
