About
how to play:
Press the Start Game button to connect to the server once connected to server wait for more players to connect, there can only be a max of 2 players; you need 2 players to play. Once you are ready simply press the ready button in the waiting room and the game will start if the 2 players are ready if you try to join the game while a game is already in progress it will show you a wait screen with 6 placeholders for players.
If there are no other players except for you, you can still test the game out by simply running 2 instances of the game yourself and joining the server with both instances.
[w][d] to move right and left
Your health decreases whenever you move. To get more health you need to collect the slime pickups throughout the levels. Health is indicated by the green Godot icon at the bottom center of the screen.
Hold shift to sprint but keep in mind that you lose health faster if you sprint
Space to jump
if time runs out you will lose, to get more time you need to kill enemies by jumping on them.
note:
I ran out of time so a lot of the art is just Godot default icons but most of the core functionality is working with some bugs here and there.
Also there is a bug if you try to join the game while a game is still in process so if for example if there are 2 players and you die wait at least around 6 seconds to rejoin once you are back in the main lobby.
