download and open the zip file, drag both the exe. file and data.win file, as well as the splash file to your desktop, open the exe. and it should run smoothly. *if there is a windows thing that pops up and says something along the lines of your computer protected you from this, click the drop-down that says something along the lines of more, and click run anyway
