Slingshot is joy with a dash of frustration. Super fast and especially painful on unresponsive touch-displays! A score-attack game with feelings from the 90:s. Be the unnamed protagonist in this colorful arcade.

Development Backstory

I took over this project a few months ago after our small indie-team dissolved. Having no experience with solo-development I had to learn alot. I was the intended artist for the project so I had that covered. Not so much anything else. Original Slingshot had a ton more features and was actually a chill explorer type of game in the beginning. Quite the opposite today.

This version of Slingshot are missing core features such as Leaderboards and Achievements. Would  love to get some feedback since I plan to continue with this weird but amazing indie-developer experience. You are also free to donate a coffee of course. Toodles.

Good-to-know

• Samsung  7 (or similar) and above to reach the 30 FPS cap
• PC-version is far superior and exclusive to itch.io
• Achievements & Leaderboard features will arrive shortly

Controls

Spacebar on PC to exit orbit. Menus and popups with mouse-clicks. Tap anywhere on screen to exit orbit on Android. Forced landscape on mobile.
