Rate top gamesThe only reason this game is hated so universally is it was supposed to be the greatest Sonic game of all time. it failed that expectation by a very large margin. but this game is not at all a bad game. The potential this game emanates is obvious from the beginning. If you take away the load times, annoying hub worlds, and side quests, you have a great experience. This game has an obnoxious and ludicrous epic story with some of the best music the sonic franchise has to offer. This was my favorite video game as a kid and I really hope it gets remake one day with small tweaks to the story and a gameplay rework.

Low-key this game isn’t that bad. Sure it’s story is terrible, but that means you can enjoy the absurdity. The gameplay is glitchy as Hell but that just means it’s like a box of chocolates and you never quite know what you’re gonna get. Also the music is legitimately good, so there’s that. So uh yeah 9/10 would kiss a dead hedgehog again.
