Soul Searching reviews

Very touching, I liked the fact of being transported from island to island, looking for a possible answer that we do not really know the question. The survival side is very well done and is a real constraint imposed on the player while not ruining the game experience. The extraordinarily serene music (reminiscent of Minecraft) participates in the atmosphere of the game, which is an invitation to relax and take its time. I did not especially like the graphics of the game, but hey, everyone is judging: 3 short, a very nice little game, although a little short for what it offers. I would have liked it to last a little longer (and especially as the map is larger x)). However, the few environments proposed and the events that happen during the navigation phases are very well done and I liked it! (although I would have liked to have a little more interaction with them)

I love and HIGHLY recommend this game! ^_^ It's beautiful and a piece of art and/or philosophy but ADDITIONALLY it also has a solid gameply which is made up of interesting and satisfying mechanics. In your search of.... I dont know, souls or.... just following the tradition, you set out to sea on your small raft. The main part of this game is therefore sailing your raft around and exploring the sea and some islands you will find. But the whole time you simultaneously have to take care of not starving or dying of thirst and sleeping enough to not burn out from a lack of energy. There will also be winds blowing making navigation a bit more tricky. Besides that sometimes it rains and thers a day and night cycle which all really adds to the feeling of survival in the wild (ocean). The music is calm and relaxing. Not to give too much away of the game, but as mentioned above philosophical questions are addressed as you travel and also meet and talk to people. To finish the adventure mode stroy doesnt take that long, but you can also play some other really funny extra modes, and theres a random mode too to beat by yourself or together with other players. So this definietely makes up for the short story. Anyhow the beauty and deep-thought-like character of the game are worth it by themselves already besides these extra game modes. But that the developers added these shows even more how much they cared for their game and/or had fun with it. I wanted to buy this game a long time ago, had it on my wihslist for long and finally bought it and no regrets! If you're not an anti-thinker or someone with a short attention span, and you're emotionally and thoughtfully speaking a deep person I'm very sure you will enjoy soul searching!
