Space Dog (katnap)

Use the left + right arrow keys to move our hero, and press the spacebar to fire at the dangerous enemies. When does it end? How do you win? I don't know, you're in space.

Made for the CSSA Game Jam 2022

Theme: Space

My first little game! Made in 48 hours using Godot. This was a great learning experience and if I had more time, here's what I would have added:

• more complex/unique gameplay, first of all ;o;
• a boss--an absolute UNIT of a "cateroid" so that you can actually win the game
• Space Dog to have Dominic Toretto-esque, cringey-tough-guy dialogue bubbles
• an opening cutscene that details how our triumphant canine found himself in such a predicament
• an animation of Space Dog dissipating when IF he dies.......
• pixel art instead of regular digital art

Who knows, I might add these in the future.
