you hold your left mouse button down to make a arrow appear. you move the arrow to the direction you want the ball to be launched. the farrier you move the arrow the stronger the launch. and when you finish aiming let go of the left mouse button and your ball will fly

you can also use your mouse reel to zoom in or out
