Spaceport Hope reviews

It's a really nice platformer, well done with a pretty gripping story. However, it is nothing exceptional. Its main flaws are:-the difficulty gap between different enemies (in the same area one can find enemies easy to beat whose attacks are easy to avoid, and others radically opposed that are very annoying to beat). -the story, which is not uninteresting but that does not make us explore all the planets of the games (a little pity). In addition, some planets are rich in content there or others do not have much to offer. -music, not bad, but far from being unforgettable (that said, this is not a defect in itself, the music is just correct without more). As for his qualities, I would summarize this by saying that it is a game that is allowed to play. When you are fond of retro game and platform like me, it is a pleasure to go to the end, even if some passages can be rather frustrating because of the enemies (as I said above). In the end, for so cheap, I recommend this game to all fans of retro platformer games. If you do not like this style, go your way, even if you do not like the die and retry (although it is not as exaggerated as in some games that basically bases on this principle like VVVVV for example).

Spaceport Hope is a platform game (Metroidvania style, saving distances) with futuristic ambience, in which we will have to guide our protagonist through various and diverse planets to unravel what lies behind the Sudden illness of the inhabitants of Yierra, and save the future of our galaxy. Graphically Retro, the characters are designed gracefully and the environments so we will move are of the most varied and colorful. Different planets, different climates and different enemies to confront. The music is achieved without emphasizing excessively, with little variety but of correct cadence. The sound Effects Are no longer fulfilled. The gameplay is notable, for the smoothness of our character's movements and we will move forward in the main story without too many problems. In Addition, we can solve on the way, some secondary missions. The difficulty is tight, fairly regular and with a rather low level (except, perhaps, the last boss). This makes, despite being able to unlock 12 weapons, 3 improvements for them, health bonuses and a wide range of inventory items, durability will not be too much. Achieving all the achievements can lengthen in about 2-3 hours the life of the game. Stretching a lot, you might be at 10 hours invested. It Is, in short, a title that does not suffer from too many negative points, but that in none of its sections will surprise us positively. Entertaining, but far from being a must. NOTE: 6/10
