Spears and Fishhooks

Spears and Fishhooks is a moody, 16-bit, turn-based fighting game where you fight Leviathan. It is a game about theodicy, justice, mercy, and man's futility in the face of cruel, uncaring divinity.  Stylistically, it's based on a lot of nostalgia for old-school Pokemon's sort of combat system - but it might be more accurate to call it a work of interactive fiction.

Featuring several possible endings, and around 20-30 minutes playtime.
