Spice Cartel

A top-down pixel game with narrative and RPG elements demonstrates how cultural appropriation and capitalism affect restaurant businesses—by dealing with enemy corporations that commodify cultural food, ignorant customers, and sustainability/ self-sufficiency. The game's objective is for the player to progress through the story and enjoy game mechanics such as turn-based battles and Cooking minigames.
