THE GAME: The aim is to score as high as possible. 
  • The game ends if the player makes 5 moves without making a Push or Add move. 
  • Tiles can be Added in three (3) places and Pushed out of the grid in two (2).
  • The total score is calculated by multiplying all the numbers in a row/col/diagonal then adding them all together.
  • The centre square can only be increased by having two (2) tiles of the same value above and below it. The Tiles added to the centre are returned to a value of 1.
NOVICE MODE:  High Score:  696

You only get the squares you start with. No respawning tiles!

ADVANCED MODE: High Score:  12,554

Tiles will respawn with a random (low) value, in a random position, after a random number of moves.

There is no limit to this game mode.

CONTROL OPTIONS:

Spinner currently supports Keyboard and Mouse

All *VALID* Add or Push moves reset the move counter.

KeyBoard Controls for Spinner

*All button presses (even if there isn't a valid move!) will reduce the move counter.

Mouse Controls for Spinner  *Clicking on any tile (even if there isn't a valid move!) will reduce the move counter. IN THE WORKS:
  • TOUCH CONTROLS:
    Currently exploring porting this to Android/iOS. Really haven't been able to get the scaling and touch controls to line up in a way that feels fun. I'd like to have a spin or drag gesture to rotate.
  • BETTER COLORS:
    Working through a book on colour theory and the evolution of colour sight in my reading time. The current colours are based around a friend who is Red/Green colourblind (why I bought the book).
  • TRANSITION UPGRADE:
    When tiles add there needs to be a better slide or combination animation. Something that is more satisfying than the current under/over and ping noise.
