The digital version of Splendor faithfully adapts all the various elements of the Space Cowboys’ award-winning board game:

Splendor introduces a special game mode, called Challenges. Challenges are based on historical events and anecdotes of the 15th and 16th centuries, setting up a real scenario in various places across the world. They teach you advanced techniques and offer rules variants. They put the player in unique situations with a goal to reach. Either earn a certain number of points or pick up a special card combination, in a limited time or limited number of moves.
Become a game expert and achieve 48 challenges along the trading routes of the world (Madrid, St. Petersburg…), not to mention duels facing great historical figures such as Charles V or Marie Stuart.

Have had to delete and re- download several times. When playing, the cards or coins get stuck often in the middle of the screen, destroying the game and the experience. Sometimes after a card has been bought, it does not get replaced (despite enough cards in the stack on the right). Other times, the game does not allow you to buy a reserved card even if you have all the coins to be able to do it.
Overall it’s too expensive for the annoying / frustrating experience, so not recommended at all. Buy the physical card game instead - it’s much better and more enjoyable.

This is completely unplayable on my iPhone XS Max. Freezes upon launch and crashes. Uninstalled and installed again, restarted etc.
On my older iPad Air 2 it plays almost fine. Bugs of various kinds. Coin floating in the middle. Items unelectable. Few crashes.

I downloaded this game after testing the games cards. Very good app but several problems. First of all my account disconnects regularly by deleting all my data and no longer allowing me to reconnect.
