Split!

a space arcade game in which you drive two spacecraft simultaneously around the solar system while avoiding asteroids.

Release and Running

run the game in performance mode by adding an additional argument to the run command

for example:

java -jar split.jar a

run_Performance_Mode.cmd

Controls

Up and Down Arrows - switch options

Enter - select options

N - change music

Any Other Key - change the direction of the spacecrafts

Modifying assets Github spritesheets

the game strictly uses its original spritesheet forma so please make sure custom sprites sheets are in the same resolution otherwise the game might break.

music/SFX

add your own music in ".wav" format into the folder called "WAV", it will be automatically picked up by the game.

the only SFX the game use is the "Explosion.wav" sound effect, replace it with your own sound effect.(length does not matter)
