This is a proof of concept engine for the game idea I am making.

The idea is pretty fluid at this stage and elements may / will change dramatically with time, but feedback is crucial to see what stays and goes. If you are interested in having a look, and hopefully, offering feedback about what you do and don't like, that would be appreciated, and crucial to further development. much love.

Controls:

WASD for movement

mouse Lclick for shoot

mouse wheel for camera zoom

hold shift for jogging

double tap and hold shift for sprinting

F for interaction (and a good game lmao)

tab for inventory ( WORK IN PROGRESS)

escape for menu (WORK IN PROGRESS WITH SOME FUNCTION)

Q, E, 1, 2, 3, to pull up hotbar (PURELY ANIMATION PROOF, NO FUNCTION, NOT SCALED CORRECTLY)

the campfires are going to be save points, so if you pick up crossbow, go to other campfire, save, close game, open and load, youll be in the same spot

the GUI is entirely a mockup at the moment, none of it works. just to understand where I want things to stay / change
