Spot in the Dark

Spot in the Dark is a mini-game spot the character game. The room is dark except for the spotlight the player controls and they can see how long they can endure looking for the dog in the dark.

Mouse moves around the spot light.
Left mouse button flashes the spotlight.
Escape opens the pause menu.

Spot in the Dark was made during the 2021 Global Game Jam, since the jam's theme was given a few days prior it gave me sometime to think and plot out what my game would be like. 

I wanted the game to be simple, replayable and infinite. My whole goal was to make a complete game, so I didn't think of an idea of grandeur but instead kept it small. My thought process was: "I want to make one Mario Party-styled mini-game." which I set out to do.
