If using keyboard. Use WASD and mouse. Connect controller to game by pressing face 1 button( xbox A,  switch B , PS X ,you get the point). Use  Left stick and D-pad to move. Right stick or movement direction to aim and shoulder buttons or face 1 and face 2 to do actions.
