Spud's Space Splash

Meet Spud (AKA Sputnik), a guinea pig deployed by the Soviet Union on a dangerous mission to outer space to gather as many space veggies as possible while avoiding bouncing asteroids and the clutches of the aliens who want to harm him.

WE NEED YOUR HELP to guide our fur potato through these harsh obstacles before time runs out!

This mini-game currently features a simple "Score Attack" mode with 3 difficulty options. Use the arrow keys to change direction and the "Space" or "Z" keys to shoot at obstacles. If you die at any point in the game, your character will respawn after a couple of seconds as a penalty.

Originally designed and developed for the 2022 itch.io "20 Second Game Jam", this mini-game will gradually be updated to have mission modes, additional levels, couch co-op, and even a character selection screen. Plus other cool things that come to mind!
