This game was made for the global game jam

Sqroot vs the Astro-Jacks
who came to cut down the ents because they are evil and stupid

A game where you play as sqroot, a combat capable ent who want to take revenge on the astro jacks.

Move around using the arrow keys or w/a/s/d, punch using space bar or z, or use your grapple root using shift or x. Or you could use a controller. Your choice.

Known issues
- It will freeze in the loading screen, but please give it a minute to load.
- The game only loads in Chrome. The itch.io embedder doesn 't play nice with Firefox and Safari for godot 4 projects.
