Squared: The Game
About
It’s a turn-based puzzle game for two players adapted from a paper and pencil game known from school (at least mine).
Your goal is to draw more squares than your opponent. You draw a square when you place the finishing line. You can only draw a line between two neighbor points and diagonals are not allowed. When you finish a square, you have an extra move!
Whoever draws a line between marked points completes a square and gains a point and extra move.
Extra spot. A player who draws a line between marked points will complete two squares and gains two points and two extra moves.
Prototype version
There is implemented a very basic AI doing near-random moves. Just to simulate the second player for those who cannot play with friends for now.
Network multiplayer in development.
