Squash & Stretch

Stretch was only drawn three weeks ago.  If he had it his way, he'd spend all the time he could goofing off with his friends, annoying his boss, while pining over his potential sweetheart.  But what started off as a simple eyewitness to vandalism, slowly turns into a strange conspiracy that has him questioning his place as a toon in the city of Monochrome.

Squash & Stretch is a sound(less) kinetic novel set in the backdrop of a monochromatic city on an island, inhabited by vintage toons of old.

This build is a prototype gauging interest.  It includes the first three chapters of the story (roughly 16000+ words), no sound or major visuals, or effects.  The continued story would introduce new characters, themes, and story beats including an ongoing conspiracy plot.  It would also include some additional visual elements and possibly sound/music.
